Gentle Dentistry
Staff Biography:
Our greatest pride is the staff of Gentle Dentistry. Many of our
staff members have been with the office for over 25 years. We feel
lucky to have them and we know you will appreciate them as well.
They are experienced in making dental appointments comfortable and
efficient.
Kim will cheerfully help you with all your financial and insurance
needs. Barbara will be that friendly voice at the other end of the
phone confirming and helping you schedule your hygiene appointments.
Maureen and Mary will always do their best to schedule the most
convenient time for your appointments with the doctors.
In the treatment rooms you will meet Dorraine, Teresa, Joanne, and
Patty. Our dental treatment coordinators and assistants are here to
help make your experience as comfortable as possible. Please ask
them how the patient entertainment center in your treatment room can
help you make your appointment more enjoyable. Don’t forget to try
out the massage chairs in our reception area.
Our hygienists, Mara S, Debbie, Ilene, and Maria D all have 20 plus
years experience in patient care. Their gentle touch and extensive
knowledge and training will help you understand the things that can
impact your dental health. We know you will appreciate their skills
and knowledge.
We are all committed to making your experience the best it can be
and will always be receptive to your feedback. Please share anything
that would make your dental experience the most comfortable.
Dr. Michael Migdal
DMD, FAGD, FICOI
Dr. Migdal graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in
1984. In 1985 he finished a Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in
Brooklyn, NY. He gained a second certificate in 1995 after
completing a two year program in Implantology. He served as Clinical
Associate Professor at New York University, teaching surgical and
restorative implantology from 1997 - 2001. Dr. Migdal is a
nationally renowned speaker and lecturer on topics such as new
dental techniques, technologies, and patient care. He is a Fellow of
the Academy of General Dentistry and The International Congress of
Oral Implantology.
Dr. Migdal lives locally
with his wife, daughters, and max (his beloved dog). He is an avid
cyclist, skier, and mountain biker.
In 1990, Dr. Spector graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Dental Medicine. In 1993, Dr. Spector finished a two year
program in Full Mouth Rehabilitation. He gained a second certificate
in 1995 after completing a two year program in implantology. He
served as Clinical Associate Professor at New York University,
teaching surgical and prosthetic implantology from 1996-1999. He is
a graduate of the Americus Center for Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr.
Spector is a fellow of; The Academy of General Dentistry, The
International Congress of Oral Implantology, Academy of Computerized
Dentistry, and a member of The American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry. He is the President and Founder of the Contemporary
Implant Study Club.
Dr. Spector lives locally with his wife and three wonderful boys. He
enjoys baseball, skiing, and playing guitar.
Jennifer Hade, DMD, joined Drs. Spector and Migdal at Gentle
Dentistry in 2004. She received her dental degree in 2003 from the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon completion
of her dental education, Dr. Hade continued her education as a
general practice resident at Morristown Memorial Hospital. In 1997,
she received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Wake Forest
University. Dr. Hade maintains memberships in numerous professional
organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry and The
American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Hade lives in Morris
County with her husband and enjoys baking, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Aleksander Iofin practices endodontics full-time and teaches
part-time. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at
the post-graduate endodontic department, Columbia University College
of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Iofin graduated from Rutgers
University with highest honors, and received his dental degree from
Harvard School of Dental Medicine with honors in a special field. He
received his endodontic specialty training at the New York
University College of Dentistry. Dr. Iofin is a Board-eligible
member of the American Association of Endodontists. He has lectured
at the Greater New York Dental Meeting and various New York dental
societies.
